A nice pitstop on the way to Furano
Random stop-by on the way to Furano and glad we did. A short break of 30mins to take a breather, enjoyed the weather, stream and the mini waterfall! Could've explored the entire park if it wasn't a...
I visited as a restroom break for the tour. I was a little scared because there was a display with care for mammals. When I went down to my right from the parking lot, I saw a small three-tiered waterfall. At first glance, I thought it was three steps sideways, but it was three steps vertically. It's off limits, so I can't go nearby, but the water was cool and comfortable.
There is a parking lot and toilet along National Highway 452, away from Furano and Ashibetsu City, and if you go down the sidewalk, you will find Azuya, Ashibetsu River, and Sandan Waterfall. Just a few minutes walk from the parking lot, you can enjoy the powerful view of the waterfall and it is perfect for a break during the drive! .. When walking, it is a short distance from the easy-to-walk sidewalk, but it is necessary to be careful because there are some places where it is difficult to walk due to rocks and roots of trees.
Along National Highway 452, it is located at the middle point from Mikasa City, Ashibetsu City, and Furano City, and is suitable for a break spot after a drive. The scaffolding leading to Sandan Waterfall is slippery and surprisingly hard. I am also pleased with the field athletic of the three-stage belly father.
This is along National Highway 452 and along the road from Sapporo to Furano. (It's just before the fork in between Ashibetsu and Furano) Even though it's a park, there are no playsets, and there is a promenade along the river and a Sandan waterfall at the end, so it's nice to take a walk.
