My hometown.
I must say it is not the best beach i have been but it is changing. the people are now becoming more environmentalists. The place is great.. just need more education for the locals to take care of it....
Not Bad
The waves are not as good as San Juan Beach. Less touristy than SJ. Lots of hawkers walk along the beach selling paintings, fresh catch, etc. I find it annoying. Lots of old bars and resorts line ...
Wear a wet suit
Wear a wet suit,, water was filthy and garbage on the beach..if you want clean water head at least 20k north of here...
Family Friendly
This beach is recommended for famikies with younger kids. The Waves are calmer than the ones in San Juan. Less people toi but specifically at the beacj front of Aureo Resort

One thing about the beaches along La Union is that the waves are a big strong, so wading and swimming are not advised. If you are in the San Juan Area, the beach there is more suited to surfing so the...
