Beijing International Sculpture Park

I think the International Sculpture Park is a great outing when you live in Beijing. It’s a very well maintained space with lots of green and of course sculptures. The paths are very nice and there’s a wheelchair/stroller path. The sculptures are interesting and diverse. There are some places to buy snacks and some nice rides for kids.

Beijing International Sculpture Park is a sculpture culture and art park, mainly to collect and display sculpture art at home and abroad, and there are more than 180 sculptures, reliefs and murals from more than 40 countries and regions in the park.

Every spring, I come here to check in to see the magnolia flower. Every time I park my car in the parking lot of Ximen and then go there. Usually the parking lot is not very full, and it is still good to stop. After entering, go east, pass a small magnolia forest, the small forest has security guards not to enter, several times in the shouted out. I thought I wouldn't let it in this year, so I continued to go east and finally saw the largest magnolia forest. Although this forest is blocked, there is a special entrance for everyone to go in and watch the flowers, which is still more humane. There are a lot of people shooting flowers inside, and there are more older people. It is probably because young people don't have time to work days. Now the magnolia blossoms are just right, friends who like magnolia flowers should not miss it.

The International Sculpture Park has been open for so many years, and I have never been there. It should not be. Today, I deliberately went to "check in to make up for the shortage". Take Lugu East Street, enter from the West Gate, the ticket is ten yuan, support the park annual ticket, the staff at the door is very responsible, scan the code to measure the temperature, and it is reassuring. The garden is long and narrow in the north and south, which is relatively long terrain, and is divided into two gardens, with a tunnel connecting the two gardens. The sculpture garden is not only sculpture, the content inside can be rich. First, of course, it is mainly ornamental sculpture. There are sculptures everywhere in the garden. Every few steps along the road, you can see a sculpture landscape, large and small, forest and forest, and various subjects. It is said that it is from more than 40 countries and is a veritable "international sculpture park". And every sculpture has an introduction in front of it, what is the title, who is the author, where the nationality is, if you want to look at the sculpture carefully, you can't finish the garden all day. Second, the green coverage in the garden is very high, there are many types of plants, Yingchunhua, magnolia flower, seagull flower have formed a certain scale, especially magnolia flower, each variety of magnolia flower has more than 5,000 plants, is the largest special magnolia ornamental garden in Beijing today. In addition, autumn has arrived, the color of the plants has begun to change, some trees have turned yellow, some leaves are slowly red, late autumn is not too late. Third, the narrow garden is especially suitable for running and fitness. The main road outside the East and West two gardens is paved with a walkway, and the distance is also marked. Enjoy the beautiful scenery under the shade, and walk on a soft walkway. It must be very pleasant. Fourth, there is a small children's playground in the East District, there are many amusement facilities, and the children can't come to play better. It is really suitable for all ages to play in the playground and then visit the garden to see the scenery. Fifth, there are several squares in the garden, gathering a lot of spontaneous amateur dance groups and folk bands, dancing the elderly level is not low, the band from the instrument to the musicians are very professional, like the model, really admire these elderly. From the West Garden to the East Garden, then the North Line back to the West Garden, still from the West Gate out of the garden, this place is really good. There is a Taiwan Street in the south of the West Gate, and there is also a restaurant in the north. It is not a problem to eat in this place. Come back another day and go outside. You can also stroll around and taste the restaurant here.
