The Pavilion is located on the west side of Taihe Palace Square, facing the east, and stands opposite the Tiren Pavilion. It was built in the 18th year of Ming Yongle (1420), and was called Wulou in the early Ming Dynasty, and Wucheng Pavilion in Jiajing, and was renamed Wuyi Pavilion in the early Qing Dynasty.
