Towering Heights
When we went to the Belfry of Bergues, it was sadly raining. As we started climbing the staircase, we stopped at multiple rooms learning about the carnival, the historic meaning and use oft the belfry...

Bergues can rightly be proud of its tower which soars above the city. It hosts four small domes, a large central dome, an onion spire and gold decoration above.
Wonderful view
I was looking for the famous ch’tis but it seemed they left for a while... whatever, the view is amazing.
Other watch
The problem is that, when you see Calais, the others are not so much attracting attention.
A beautiful town and quiet
Bergues is a small town with a lot of history and a little tourist, well to walk through its streets, visiting its walls, the beffroi and especially for my pleasure the Groenberg Garden.
