Old Maribor Synagogue

Located in the city centre close to the Drava river. Old architecture and very good renovated. If you are in Maribor, it makes sence to visit. One step from Water Tower.

It used to be a sinagogue

This was once a sinagogue. Not any more. As no more jews were left around... It is some sort of a museum that represents the jewish history of Maribor.

Wonderful stop

Nicely renovated

Today it serves as a cultural institution, exhibitions concert are held here. The original synagogue was already built in the 13th century.
