A place to learn how ancient people lived peacefully without farming
This is one of 39 sites of a recently approved world heritage, called Jomon historic sites in Northern Japan. You may learn how people, who lived between 2,000 and 5,000 years B.C. there, enjoyed ...
It has been registered as a World Heritage Site as a group of Jomon archaeological sites in Hokkaido and Northeastern North. There were few visitors even before noon on Sunday, probably because the influence of Corona remains. Maybe it was a World Heritage Site, and there was little advertisement, and there was no big information board on the road. It seems that the facility has not been added even if it has become a World Heritage Site. Excavated earthenware and earthen figures are stored in the exhibition hall. Look slowly 1〜2 time.
A group of Jomon archaeological sites in Hokkaido and Northeastern Hokkaido aiming to register as a World Heritage Site. Car navigation system is not available now. The green lawn that is good for park golf is vivid. I do not call myself a World Heritage candidate for Date. I was relieved to note that "Please watch over the surrounding creatures without approaching them or feeding them." Admission is free at the adjacent information center.
This is on the right side of the golden small when you go from Muroran. (The entrance is difficult to understand) Mostly, there are facilities that exhibit excavated items, shell mounds, and parks that reproduce residences in the Jomon period. This Kita Kogane Kaizuka Park is said to have reproduced the ruins of the early and mid Jomon periods about 7,000 to 4500 years ago. In addition, the facility where excavated items are exhibited was interesting because the meaning of shell mounds, the topography of that time, Jomon pottery, etc. were exhibited.
Even though it was date, it was about halfway between Muroran and Date City. Not only the exhibition facilities but also the field work is powerful, and his Jomon period houses are reproduced in the grasslands. It was a relaxing place where a family with a lunch box was having a picnic. In August, there is a "Jomon Festival" where you can experience the wild grilling of Jomon pottery and life. When I heard the contents, it seemed quite interesting, so I would like to participate.

The "Jomon Festival" in August looks fun
