This is a waterfall along Route 117, which runs from Eniwa City to Mt. Eniwa (toward Lake Shikotsu) (there are several waterfalls, but they are just in the middle). The richness of nature is wonderful at the feet.
It is a waterfall where the Larmanai River, a tributary of the fishing river, flows. It is on the way from New Chitose Airport to Jozankei by taxi, and you can see it a little down from the parking lot beside the road. It was a little early for the autumn leaves, but it may be a break point for the drive.
There weren't many tourists and I could take a closer look. It was good this time because it was a place I didn't know at all unless I brought it. To be honest, I wonder if Sounkyo and Oshinkoshin Falls in Shiretoko, which I have been to many times, are enough. It was fresh because I was thinking a little ^^ Is this smaller in scale? However, it was good personally. There is also a parking lot. Some people looked like locals. I moved a little and saw the Shiraogi Falls and enjoyed the Eniwa Valley with autumn leaves.
One of the waterfalls in the Eniwa Valley, the waterfall where the Ralmanai River, a tributary of the fishing river, flows. It is a little down from the parking lot of Ralmanai Falls, but the amount of water changes depending on the rainfall situation. When I went in late June, the amount of water was small and there were fallen trees, so I had a little disappointing impression, but the time of autumn leaves is recommended.
One of the three major waterfalls in Eniwa is Larmanai Waterfall. It's located in a place where you can easily pass by car, so if you don't look carefully, you'll overlook it. You can see the waterfall in front of you when you get off the road. It's a place where you can feel negative ions.
