Wide sandy beach

There is a protected underpass to get you to this beach. The beach is very popular as evidenced by the many surfers out on one metre waves when I visited. Public transport and food places are nearby.

I looked at Katase Higashihama Beach from the Enoshima side. The water level of the seawater has dropped and a thin sandy beach has been formed between Enoshima and Katase Higashihama Beach, and if you wear flip-flops, you can walk across both points. This state seems to be called "Dragonfly", and it seems that it is also drawn in old ukiyo-e paintings. It was interesting.

There was a sign on the wall of the bridge leading to Enoshima. I went there in December, so there were no swimmers. (Of course) I guess it's very crowded in the summer, and it will be aired on TV, etc. On the day I went, there were about 50 people surfing. A high school student got down to the beach and took a commemorative photo. Is it a place that is a little known on Katasee Island?

駅からの近さ・砂浜からの近さで西浜よりも好立地　トンビに最大限の注意を　

立地条件では東浜、魅力ある若者向けの海の家を利用したいなら西浜だと思います。 「トンビが急降下して食べ物をさらっていくので注意」というアナウンスがありましたが、トンビの声もせず姿も見えなかったので、油断していました。手に持っていたサンドイッチの半分を持っていかれてしまいました。音もなく突然後方上空から来たので、全く気づきませんでした。

江ノ島の駅にほど近い海岸

小田急江ノ島線の終点である片瀬江ノ島駅から国道134号線をまたぐ地下道を渡りすぐの場所にあり、江ノ電と湘南モノレールの江ノ島駅からも徒歩で5分程度である。 進行方向左側が「東浜」右側が「西浜」であり、東浜は各種コラボイベントが開催されどちらかといえばファミリー向け、一方の西浜はクラブのような海の家が点在しカップルや若者向けである。
