Taoguangsi

The temple was built by the famous monk and Buddhist monk of the city, and was rebuilt by Wu Yue Wang in the five generations of Jin Tianfu three years (938). After the fire destroyed the temple in 1982, it was converted into a open hall, named "Deep in the White Cloud". Renovated in 2006. On November 23, 2012, Yuezhen Master became the first new abbot of Xuguang Temple. A gardened monastery is hidden between the cliffs, and the Rongchiquan Pavilion is between the mountains and rivers and the valleys and the bamboos are built in Maolin. Yuguang Temple is located on the mountainside of the north peak of Lingyin Temple, Lingyin Road, West Lake District, Hangzhou. It is a well-known temple in Hangzhou. From Feilai Peak, all the way through Lingyin Temple and Yongfu Temple, pick up the light path, which is the highest point of Lingyin Scenic Area. To be honest, the mountain path of this Shang Temple is a bit steep, but it is also sparsely populated. It is not too tired to walk and stop, listen to Linhai and Lushan Pavilion. The fame of the temple is much inferior to the first two temples, but as the heritage of the intersecting culture of Confucianism and Buddhism since ancient times, it has its own unique charm. Especially the "sea viewing building" in the temple has always been praised as the best place to view the sea of clouds, but unfortunately the time and the environment were not right, and it was also considered to be the sea of clouds.

This is the most suitable place to watch the sea in ancient Lingyin Mountain. The pavilion pillars on the "lou view of the Bohai Sea, the door to the Zhejiang tide", for the Tang Dynasty poet Song Zhi asked the famous sentence, the Boguang view of the sea is still one of the 18 scenery of the West Lake and the 24 scenery of Hangzhou in the Qing Dynasty. Although the scenery is not there now, it is still indescribable to climb and look far. Turn right at the Daxiong Pavilion, the most beautiful place in the Suiguang Temple, it is simply a small Jiangnan garden. In front is the famous Jinlian Pool. It is legendary that the Zen Master Suiguang is here to attract water to plant Jinlian. On the left is a pavilion, and on the right is the chanting and Guanyin Palace. The chanting fen pavilion is a landscape-separated building, passing through the chanting fen pavilion, and then passing a small bridge to reach the chanting hall, creating a deep distance beauty, the chanting hall is a hexagonal building, built on a pool, as if the seven treasures of the western bliss world and Qionglou Yuyu. Now the second floor of Fa'antang, the Fulang of the Shuguang Temple, is the best observation deck for the whole monastery. Tourists stand here, with layers of pavilions and pavilions in different shapes at their feet, and the Xizi Lake surrounded by mountains in the distance is refreshing. Only the carvings on the old slate, As if talking silently about the years. After several changes, the current Suiguang Temple, although not the sea of Suiguang clouds and incense in the past, has another charm. As the only temple in Hangzhou where the Confucian and Taoist Buddhas are unified, Lu Chunyang Lu Dongbin and He Xiangu are provided in the Suiguang Temple. It is said that this is the most spiritual place in old Hangzhou to ask for a sign.
