An expected nice stop in Munfordville, KY
Excellent historical tour of house, and surrounding area. Tour guide was very open to questions and had great stories about the armies from the South and North. Very knowledgeable and entertaining.
I must say it is kind of run down without much to see, It deserves better than what it is now. the battle field is private property and you can not go on it. couple of good stories on plaques.. b...

Most of the battlefield is on private property with no access. You can stop at the house (which is not the original from the Civil War), but no one was there when I went by. You can see the bridge and...
Visited last week..the area around the house is still accesible, HOWEVER the trail area where the actual battle occured is now gated, with a sign that says TRAILS CLOSED< PRIVATE PROPERTY< NO TRESPASS...
