The beach is beautiful, the wharf is closed. Beware of local tane who drive at you down wharf road...tourists aren’t welcome by everyone and might receive some abuse.

After heavy rain a day earlier, the final bit of road to the wharf was looking somewhat worse for wear. We decided against continuing and reversed back along it.
