Got out of my comfort zone to view this museum..
And I was the only foreigner there..It is in a residential area south of downtown Hiroshima..It is located in an old brick building built in 1897 that was the former Ujina Army Provisions Depot Buildi...
There are many atomic bomb buildings, but is it about 3km from the center of Hiroshima City? I think it's easy to get on the "Hiroden Tram" toward Ushina Port. It's a little in a place like a depression on the riverbed. It is a cute building with red bricks. I think it is of great historical significance, so if you have time, please visit it.
5 minutes walk from Ushina 2-chome Station on the Hiroden Electric Railway. The admission fee is 100 yen. The brick building is a canning factory of the former Army Supply and Branch built in 1911. I withstood the atomic bomb. There are not many exhibits, but it seems that Hiroshima has exhibits such as tools and methods for oyster cultivation.
I went with a friend in Hiroshima. The red brick building is beautiful and spectacular. The exhibition was only a permanent exhibition and was a little unsatisfactory. There were few things related to the atomic bomb. If the number of days is limited, you may pass.
It is a local museum that uses the building that was originally an army supplies and warehouse. It is also an atomic bomb building, and the appearance of the steel beams on the ceiling bent by the blast is also exhibited as it is. In addition to that, the life, industry, and culture of Hiroshima, such as rivers, tidal flats, seaweed, ships, etc., are exhibited. You can see that Hiroshima is a town built in the delta of the Ota River.
