When I traveled to Kanazawa, I was running at night and passed by. The red brick building is eye-catching. There was no light and it was quiet at night, but it seems to look good even if it is lit up like Tokyo Station.

The Tamagawa Library Early Modern Historical Museum is located in Tamagawa Park. I found it when I took a walk around the area in February. It is a retro building made of red brick. This building was a two-story corridor-style building built as a Kanazawa Tobacco Manufacturing Factory in 1918. The factory moved in 1972, and Kanazawa City took over a part of the building and became an annex to the library. It has been designated as a national registered cultural property. On the day, the plum blossoms were in full bloom. Nearby, the Monopoly Bureau era (Taisho era) large clock is preserved ...
