    Enjoy maccha ice cream here.

    This is a former samurai residence open to the public. There is a cafe inside and we enjoyed maccha ice cream. Take your time to admire the gardens as well as the residence itself.

    有料施設が多い中、無料で入る事が出来る施設。幕末期の建物と推測され建築当時の状態をめざし壁土や柱などはできるだけ再利用し修復されている。平成19年に所有者であった能見家から杵築市が譲り受けたとされている。入口には丁寧に入場無料と書かれた案内板があるので非常に分かり易い。門をくぐると管理者の方がいて笑顔で自由にお入りくださいと言って頂く。 靴を脱いで上がると目の前には年季が入った雛人形が飾られてい...

    入場無料大原邸の隣

    大原邸ほど大きくないですが、邸内や庭を見学できます。 大分空港から大分駅行き路線バス（高速バスはこの辺りは通らないので注意）で３０分少々、ＪＲ杵築駅からは国東方面行で１０分ほどで杵築バスターミナル到着。徒歩３０秒ほどで観光案内所あり。観光施設と指定店で使えるクーポンが付いた「杵築まち歩きプラン」も観光案内所で販売しています。 観光案内所からは徒歩１０分ほど。
