I had wanted to visit this place since I heard about it several years ago. It seemed like a truly unique place and something i wanted to experience first hand. So when i finally got to visit, it was both different to what i had expected and also much better than what I thought it would be.The obvious point of contention on this park is the dwarf theme, yes it is something that probably wouldn't be allowed to exist in other countries, yes some people don't like the idea, calling it something similar to an old school "freak show". This is still the main selling point of the park, and there are many dwarf people dressed in costumes working here, but it definitely isn't some evil exploitative park, you can make up your own opinions on the park but i would wait until you are able to experience it first hand instead of watching the documentaries online and making a snap opinion.So to my actual experience here. It was a great day out, suitable for the whole family and had a huge variety of things to see and do, most of which were not centred around the dwarf theme. The park costs 100RMB per person, one of the only downsides for me was its location is quite far from Kunming city and the roads leading to it are definitely in need of repair.When entering the park you will walk through a butterfly art exhibit, some small gardens, an old film set, a stone garden, a hill with hobbit style homes, and some cool big castle style buildings. After all of that you get to the main square where they have shows twice a day, and the main old mushroom house village. In this area you can see the staff in different job roles in the houses, such as a dwarf judge, banker, guards, shop keepers, artists etc. The staff are friendly and you can take pictures with them. After this there are multiple slides, childrens play areas, art installations, a tree warehouse, a peacock feeding area and more.I highly recommend you to visit here, you will have a great time.

The traffic is hard to say. It is 87 by taxi from Kunming, and 130 is not easy to take a taxi. The scenic spot is in the mountains, I almost thought the driver pulled us to the black wind village.
