Elephant Camps
Donna Liao
Elephant Nature Park has been in Chiang Mai for more than 20 years, and we also happened to meet Ms. Lek, founder of ENP, who has now had more than 71 elephants rescued, many of them from circus and tourist-watching Camp or labor elephants bought back in ENP. I am very touched to save so many animals in such a large area, I hope everyone who wants to know the life of Asian elephants can come to the ENP day trip.

The elephant volunteer trip at this shelter is very interesting. Everyone will change into cute uniforms and match the food bag full of sugarcane. Before reaching the elephant up close, the leader will introduce the name, gender, age and characteristics of each elephant. Let us feel the temper and habits of each elephant when we can feed; then the leader will also educate us about elephants, and also make a fruit ball to help digest for the elephant to eat; Finally, I helped the elephants to take a bath, and I saw that they seemed to enjoy it all, and kept licking their ears and spraying water playfully. It was a very interesting and meaningful trip.

It is very close to the Grand Canyon in Pai County. After walking the Grand Canyon, I just came here to rest. The strawberry garden is not big, but the view is very good. It feels good to sit on the bench. The color is also very suitable for taking pictures.

The projects provided by the Elephant Garden are diverse~ Riding cattle to see the ethnic minority settlements, taking a photo with the long-necked beauty to ride the elephant to climb the mountain and wading in the water. Although our weight scale does not seem to be heavy on the back of the scale, we still feel that it is hard work, but, thinking backward, if you don't appreciate it, The elephant park is gone. Will the elephants who return to the jungle live better? ? Look at the elephant drawings (really great), play football, interact with tourists~~ I am very happy to have the opportunity to understand the talent and intelligence of the elephants up close~~
