City Park
D39***25Singha Park is an enormous site encompassing panoramic views, gardens, refreshments, farm produce, tea plantations, lakes, adventure parks a business park and more all rolled into one very well run and perfectly manicured site. We found our way by local taxi from Chiang Rai, used the local farm bus to look around, but there are bikes and e-scooters if you are more energetic. See how blueberries are grown, feed the zebra, sample the local tea, try some great snacks and good coffee, and take home some honey, curry pastes or skin care products. The information desk will provide numbers for taxis to get you back to Chiang Rai. A lovely, relaxing outing.

Historical Site
_GG***44Considered to be the highlight of the province There is a loud hit with Chiang Rai songs reminiscent every three o'clock. Local art And indigenous songs And this makes Chiang Rai completely different from Chiang Mai Considered a relatively safe, quiet and peaceful city

Featured Neighborhood
_GG***44Quiet town, sells like a normal flea market Can't fight Chiang Mai But the charm of Chiang Rai is It is a small town where it is comfortable to go around, but people sleep quickly if looking for light and suggesting other cities. Everything was closed early on weekdays, 8 PM. The famous cutting board for tea And the tame of the people The road is open, suitable for driving to see the city, fresh fruit, attractive to buy, beautiful small restaurants, lurking in many places.

_We***08So much blue! Many great photo opportunities at this temple. Be respectful when you arrive. If it gets hot there are plenty of vendors on site that have cold drinks and snacks. Make sure to go inside the temple, you will not be disappointed.

Chiang Rai Travel Tips

About Chiang Rai

Chiang Rai is the largest city in Northern Thailand, located at the junction of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar, about 900 kilometers from the capital of Bangkok. The city of Chiang Rai was founded in 1262 by King Mangrai, for whom the city was named. Chiang Rai is a quiet, simple town with beautiful green trees and natural scenery. It is the gateway to the Daen Lao Mountain Range and the borders of Myanmar and Laos, also known as the Golden Triangle where all three countries meet. The area is home to pristine mountain villages, the beautiful Mekong River, as well as the world-famous White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) and Black Temple (Baan Dam).
