Go around Izu. A museum I stopped by when driving. A long time ago, the skeleton of a semi-whale that died when he lost his way to this Kumomi port is on display. It's a fairly large specimen. Other basics are photographs and panel exhibitions explaining the ecology of whales. The opening is between gold ~ months, but it is locked if there is no viewer, so it is good to go to the tourist information center at the entrance and open it. It is located along the coastline 136, but the tourist information center ...
It's a fairly minor material exhibition hall, but it's fun to study while playing in the wind with a specimen of whale bones hanging all over the body 1. And ... rattling! It was fun to be able to observe the skeleton slowly.
1977 The skeleton specimens of semi-whales that died in the year of lost in Unmi Port are on display. Currently, semi-whales live in only thousands of seas around the southern hemisphere. 1930 The skeleton specimens of semi-whales, which have been banned from capture since 1930 and are only a few in Japan, are valuable worldwide.

I went there once a few years ago and it was a revisit. Color 々 has been mentioned about whaling, but if you ever visit Nishiizu during the coming summer vacation, please bring your child to visit. Whale skeleton specimens, middle 々 There is no chance to see, and it may be a good opportunity to know that the cherry blossom part is used for joruri dolls. but what's unfortunate is that there's no free place. (laughter)
