Museum in a Park
This small museum is nice and has some interesting geological information and cultural displays that might interest young adults but is mainly focused on the middle age and older crowd. One item of i...
There was a letter from a distant house on the exhibit! I heard that it was an old house, but I was surprised! !! I feel the history of liquor stores along the highway
It is a museum on the riverbank across the Tama River, down the slope like a walk from Ome Station. Cultural properties such as earthenware excavated in the city are on display.
We had an interesting exhibition called Special Exhibition 「 Ome's Food Culture 」. I explain the exhibition with photographs and collections such as cooking utensils in the Jomon period and school lunch scenery, but I don't know how to plunge into it. The theme is interesting and I feel motivated, but it seemed that there was a considerable shortage of materials. I look forward to it in the future. Admission is free and the surroundings are very quiet. The clear stream of the Tama River is also close, and it is a good place to walk leisurely.
I've seen the permanent exhibition of Mitake Shrine Akashito Idaiho and the crashed B29 engine, but I regret only the Tokyo Cultural Property Week (11 Moon 3 Sun). First time in the real thing of the pottery I saw it. It's wonderful and the design doesn't seem to be the Jomon period. It is an important cultural property.
