Climb the slope from the East Tower area, the Great Auditorium, and climb further while looking at Kaidan-in on your right 。 The color of the red lacquer is beautiful. Next to it is the Hokke Sojiin East Tower.
It was built in the Showa era, so it doesn't feel historically old, but the dull vermilion building, which is lined up with the East Tower, is beautiful. Nemoto Nakado is under restoration, so this is a good place to take a picture of the temple.
Amida-do was built at the end of the summit side of Mt. Hiei in the eastern tower area of Enryakuji Temple. From the place where the large auditorium and Nemoto Nakado were built, I walked gently up toward the summit of Mt. Hiei. Next to the Amida-do, which I can see, is the Hokke Sojiin East Tower. Both are temples built in the Showa era, and the bright vermilion shines in the deep green of Mt. Hiei and looked beautiful.
