it's a famous temple in oyodo town.

Apart from that, do you need a crown called "Reiwashiyama" in this temple? Please judge by the person watching. Is there somewhere else when it comes to Sesonji? This is a temple related to Prince Shotoku, a five-storied pagoda was erected during the Asuka period, and it has been moved to the present Mitsui-dera Temple in Shiga Prefecture during the Muromachi period. 3 First visit.

A temple that is said to have been built by Prince Shotoku

    Original Text

After seeing the cherry blossoms in Yoshino, I stopped by on the way to Tsubosakaji Temple. It is said to be one of the temples built by Prince Shotoku. From Nara to the Heian period, it was called Hisoyamaji Temple and was a large temple with many temples lined up. There are traces of the East Pagoda and the West Pagoda in front of the mountain gate, and the East Pagoda is now relocated as the three-storied pagoda of Shiga Mitsuiji Temple. Behind the temple is the hand-planted cherry blossoms of Prince Shotoku. Many cherry trees were in full bloom in the precincts and it was very beautiful. The bird-proof cat figurine of Prince Do hall is available ...

there's a cherry blossom of immortality and longevity.

    Original Text

It was called Hisoji Temple and had a large-scale temple, but the current Sesonji Temple was restored by reducing maintenance in the Edo period. The former temple area is designated as a national historic site as the "ruins of Hisoji Temple". Behind the temple is the hand-planted Danjo cherry blossoms (cherry blossoms of immortality and longevity) planted by Prince Shotoku, and a Basho monument stands near it. During the cherry blossom season, few visitors can enjoy quiet cherry blossom viewing.

It is one of the few "tourist attractions" in Oyodo Town.

    Original Text

There are some temples and shrines in Oyodo Town, but it is famous here, Sentokuji Temple, and Kamagakimoto ... one of them. It has a slightly cool mountain name, but in fact there are about two temples with the same name and the same character all over the country, so ... I think it's just "Sesonji" here, but ... I can identify it by entering the place name Because it is not ... I am familiar with temples and shrines, so I can identify this place even if it is not attached to Mt. Reiwa, but ... If you will be reviewed later, it is Sesonji Temple ...
