Modern take on famous ancient site
The excavations at Sauveterre gave a whole classification to archaeology. Of course very little remains to be seen in this era but the museum has made an excellent job of making prehistory accessible....
Beware of hours
Came 45 minutes before closing time, and they wouldn't let us in. Thought we could get an impression in that time, but they thought otherwise. At least we saw the grandaddy of local archaeological mus...
A VOIR
The museum is nice,for many things to see,for the region has had a strong prehistoric activity,caves are not far from the village that have been dwelled!

A beautiful, funny and interactive small museum, both for big and small. The visit takes place at about 1:30 if you read everything and watch videos.
