Binjiang Avenue

Binjiang Avenue is located in the Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone, along the east bank of the Pujiang River, starting from Taitongzhan Pier in the north and ending at Dongchang Road Pier in the south, with a total length of about 2,500 meters. It is one of the famous tourist attractions in Shanghai because it can overlook the buildings of the World Expo on the other side of the Bund and the scenery of Puxi. Compared with the crowds of people on the Bund, Binjiang Avenue is relatively quiet. This is the former site of Shanghai Lixin Shipyard wharf with a history of more than 70 years, which has been converted into a sightseeing wharf. The section of Binjiang Avenue in front of Zhengda Plaza can be said to be a lively section. It not only brings together many restaurants, such as Paulaner, Tianshui Lian Italian Restaurant, Xu Liushan, Starbucks and Haagen-Dazs, etc., but also overlooks the buildings on the other side of Puxi. The Bank of China Building, Peace Hotel, Customs Building, and HSBC Bank Building are all clearly visible, reproducing the style of the "Far East Wall Street" in the past. Both Shanghai locals and tourists will stop here to take pictures and take pictures. During holidays, there are also cultural performances. The middle section of Binjiang Avenue (Oriental Pearl Section) adopts a layered three-dimensional design. Walking on this avenue with prosperous flowers and trees and green grass, it faces the calm waves of the Pujiang River, backs to the Oriental Pearl Tower, and overlooks the romantic ancient ocean on the Bund.
