I enjoyed it with a bright exhibition.

After finishing sightseeing in Hagi from the day before, I visited the Sea of Japan side on the way back to Kitakyushu Airport by rental car via Shimonoseki. There are many museums where stone tools and earthenware are displayed, but I enjoyed it with a bright and ingenious exhibition.

You can enjoy it with your family.

There is a museum built in the Ayaragigodai ruins and an experiential exhibition, so even small children can enjoy it without getting tired of it. There are restored houses and tumuli outdoors, which are suitable for picnics.

A facility that is irresistible for archaeological lovers

    Original Text

Approximately 500 items excavated from the Yayoi period to the Kofun period are on display. There are also PC quizs about ancient times and earthenware jixo puzzles. Outdoors, there are restored tumuli and pit-style dwellings, and I thought it was an irresistible facility for archaeological lovers.

A long time ago, during the excavation period, I had an acquaintance with the person concerned, but I had no chance to go to this museum until I visited for the first time. At that time, the theory of Japanese origin was popular from the Jomon period to the Yayoi period, and I was quite interested.Relationship with the continent was a theme that should be pursued especially. The relationship between the continental part of East Asia and the Japanese archipelago is old or ...

I used the one-day bus ticket for Sanden Kotsu to visit Nakayama Shrine and then went to this museum. It was inconvenient to go by bus because there were few flights. However, I was able to think of it more than I expected, such as the structure that reproduced the excavation of the ruins. There are several burial mounds around the building. It seems to be the best place for children to learn. However, I recommend going by car.
