Touring Mogao Grottoes, the most eye-catching thing must be the red wooden building occupying the C position - nine floors. The nine-story building, anciently known as the Peking University statue, is now known as the 96th cave of Mogao Grottoes, commonly known as the Great Buddha Hall. The main honor of the cave is the stone tire mud plastic built in 695 years sitting on the Maitreya statue, built on the mountain, full and round, like 36 meters high, is the largest Buddha statue of Mogao Grottoes. When the first construction, the Peking University statue was kiln, and the floor was 4 floors. Multiple reconstructions, the floors are gradually higher, 4-5-7-9 floors. The existing nine-story building was built in 1927-1935, and was overhauled in 1986 and 2011. As a symbol of Dunhuang's business card and Mogao Grottoes, the nine-story building is 43 meters high and magnificent; the next 7 floors are built on the cliff, and the white wall is Danyu; The upper 2 floors protect the top of Maitreya like the head, towering and flying... next to the building, the elegant architecture, the vicissitudes of history, panoramic view.

In the north foot of Mingsha Mountain, 5 kilometers southwest of Dunhuang City, Gansu Province, there is a desert, Dunhuang Mingsha Mountain, there is a different landscape. The lake is about 100 meters long, and the deepest is up to 5 meters. Because its lake surface is extremely shaped like a crescent moon, it is called Crescent Spring by the world, and it is listed as one of the "Dunhuang Eight Views".

Mingyue Pavilion is a group of antique buildings on the south bank of Dunhuang Crescent Spring, built in the 1990s. Its khaki yellow main color is not inconsistent with Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring, and "Ming" and "Moon" complement each other. Come here to see the water of Crescent Spring, or the sand dunes of Mingsha Mountain. There are Crescent Spring History Exhibition, Wenchuang Store, Shuiyue Guanyin, etc. You can visit and enjoy. There are also 1900 coffees to rest.

" Guerrilla General's Mansion " also said: Guerrilla Anmen, located in Jiayuguan Guancheng, was first built during the Ming Longqing period, and later became the place where the guerrilla generals who guarded Jiayuguan in the Ming and Qing dynasties handled military aircraft government affairs. In the ancient military history of Jiayuguan, the guerrilla general's palace was not only the command center of the Jiayuguan Great Wall defense system, but also the central organ of the court's ruling place, inspection of business travel envoys, contact with the Western Region and Central Asia and various ethnic minorities. The General House of Jiayuguan is a three-bedroom courtyard-style building with two houses facing north and south. The display of the General House is divided into two parts. The front house is centered on the Chamber of Deliberation, focusing on the ancient guerrilla general and civil and military officials commanding the enemy and issuing Guan Wen. The backyard is in the form of a courtyard house, which is the living place of guerrilla generals and their families. The display vividly shows the living scene of the general and their families. The current general's house was rebuilt on the basis of the original building in 1987.

" Jiayuguan Wenchang Pavilion " Also known as: Wenchang Palace, located outside Dongguan City, Jiayuguan Guancheng, this chic style independent building has a long history. Wenchang Pavilion was built in the Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in Qingdao Light two years (1822 AD). The pavilion is a two-story two-story mountain-top-style building. The bottom two sides are single-bed rooms. There are 18 red-painted pillars around, forming a corridor, and a wooden ladder can be built to climb the floor. The interior is a three-room, deep two-room official hall, with lattice doors and windows on all sides, and more than 80 landscape characters are painted on the upper part. This pavilion was a place for literati ink friends, poetry painting, and reading during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It became a place for civil servants to work in the end of the Qing Dynasty. Wenchang Pavilion is the place for ancient sacrifices to Wenchang Emperor. Wenchang Emperor was a god of mastery and honor. The construction of Jiayuguan Wenchang Pavilion means that the soldiers and business travel pray for the cultural prosperity of the border city, and the talents will be born.

The scale of Jiayuguan Great Wall Cultural Scenic Area is very large. In addition to the city defense system that everyone is familiar with, there is also a famous spring-nine-eye spring for thousands of years. There are many pavilions around the spring water for tourists to relax and enjoy the scenery.
