Very impressive church near my hotel, it is well constructed, especially as compared to nearby buildings that suffered earthquake damage. I’m assuming that one of the popes visited

The cathedral is pretty if you like that sort of thing, but it is not something I would out of my way to see.

Worth a visit

This cathedral is rather spare considering the beautiful colonial churches in Peru. It is big and very impressive from outside and welcoming inside. It needs to be appreciated from its historical role...

Beautiful Colonial Building

That's the main catholic church of the city and, for sure, a good spot to visit, especially if you like going to buildings with nice architecture and investigate the history behind them.
