Yakushido
Original Text
This is Hongo Yakushido, which is just off Hongo Sanchome Station. The large torii gate is a landmark, but the main hall is small. It is said that Seiken Hoin was built in the precincts of Tomimotoyama Shinkoji Temple in 1670, which was revived in 1636.
If you get off Hongo Sanchome Station and walk a little, you will find a large torii gate and Yakushido. This area used to be the precincts of the temple, but now there are only Yakushido and Jumen Kanze Bodhisattva statues. Please stop by while taking a walk.
It is right next to Sakuragi Shrine. An explanation board was posted on the right side of the red mountain gate like a torii gate. By the way, on the left side is the explanation of the eleven-faced Kanzeon Bodhisattva.

Originally, Yakushi Nyorai is said to be a Buddha who heals human suffering and excludes suffering, and has since been deeply worshiped by people 々. The current hall was newly built in 1953 ...
It was on the roadside. Therefore, when I rang the bell, the sound echoed everywhere, which was embarrassing. The hall was sober and small for the flashy and large torii gate (red).
