It's a folk performing art that I've always wanted to see, but I was able to watch it together with the schedule at the Setouchi Triennale. While it was an amateur art, the hateful production was interesting, such as laughing at the audience with current events.

Golden Week ４ On the first day of the holidays, I was taught by a person who took a ferry from the same Nissei Port and stopped by. ３ It was a tradition that has been around for more than 100 years, and it was surprisingly wonderful and amateur.

An old building in the precincts of the shrine

It is located in the precincts of Gokoku Shrine along the river of Mt. Hito surrounded by mountains in the center of Shodoshima. From the bus street, go down the narrow steep stairs from the back of the shrine. It's small, but it's a magnificent wooden building like the shrine of Gokoku Shrine. Even though it is an island, Shodoshima is large, so there is a place like a mountain village with Senmaida surrounded by mountains like here.
