It is the venue for the first high school baseball tournament with a history of over 100 years.
Original Text
It has been renewed as a memorial park. It was developed to commemorate the 100th National High School Baseball Championship. The first tournament is said to be in 1915. Since it was held on the Toyonaka Ground, Toyonaka City is considered to be the birthplace of high school baseball. There are entrances that imitate the gate pillars of Toyonaka Stadium, and plates with the names of the winning school and the runner-up school from the first tournament, but the surrounding area is a residential area, so if possible, I wanted the surrounding area to be improved.
The national junior high school championship baseball tournament started here in 1915 is the root of high school baseball.

It is said that it was made to commemorate the 70th National High School Baseball Championship. It is about a 7-minute walk from Toyonaka Station on the Hankyu Takarazuka Line to the west. The surrounding area is a residential area, but the red brick walls and gate pillars of Toyonaka Grand are reproduced, and there is a ceramic plate that copies the floor plan of the ground and a commentary on the ground. Some of the names of the successive winning schools and quasi-winning schools of the summer high school baseball tournament are left, but if you feel like a museum, you can feel the history close to you ...
It is about a 5-minute walk northwest from Toyonaka Station on the Hankyu Takarazuka Line. A brick monument was made on the site where the first national high school baseball was held. Houses are lined up in places where the ground would have been. To be clear, it is a disappointing place. Visits are not recommended except for those who like high school baseball.
The former baseball stadium site of the birthplace of high school baseball. It's just a residential area now. If you wanted to utilize the large site of the former baseball stadium, it was better to build a facility related to sports.
You can walk from Toyonaka Station. It's hard to understand if it's the first time, so it's better to ask the directions at the station. It is located in a residential area and has a monument on a small site rather than a park. I feel a little lonely.
