I saw it from the train.
Original Text
It seems that one torii gate of Yahiko Shrine became a model of Yahiko Otorii. I couldn't go near the Otorii because I went by train, so I saw it from inside the train. Near Yahagi Station on the Yahagi Line, I thought I would take a picture of the Otorii from the train on the way back just by looking at it in the direction of Yahagi Station, but I couldn't take a good picture because the speed came out immediately after leaving Yahagi Station. However, I found out that it was a large torii. The miniature of this torii was also at Tsubasa Sanjo Station on the Joetsu Shinkansen. The end of the torii is ...
I got off at Yoshida Station and walked toward Yahiko Village and found it on the way. It is said that it is 30 meters high. Because it was a walk, I slowly looked at the Otorii from below and it was amazing in size ○
It is about 3.1㎞ away from Yahiko Shrine. (Quite far.) It's big enough to see it even if it's far away. As expected, it makes me feel that there is only 3rd place in Japan. When taking a picture, if you park your car in the parking lot next to the torii gate and leave the torii gate a little, you can capture the entire torii in the camera. I couldn't find a shooting place. I was surprised when I heard that it was built to commemorate the opening of the Joetsu Shinkansen.
It is located on the approach from Tsubame City to Yahiko Shrine. You should not walk. I could see it well from the top of Mt. Yahiko. It was the best in Japan. Which is the big torii gate of Kumano Shrine? i'm sure you said it was the best in japan too.
There was a torii gate about 4km away from Yahiko Shrine. It was very noticeable even from a distance, but when I came directly below, I was overwhelmed by its presence.
