I think it's limited to weekends, but candles are lit up the stairs up the shrine. It creates a fantastic atmosphere. If you pay as a donation to the Great East Japan Earthquake, one candle in the cup will be placed on the stairs. The more donations, the more candles will be. I'm interested in revitalizing the town, thinking about it ~.

From Shibu Onsen, go up the stone steps to Takayakushi. From there, you can reach it by further going through the mountains on the promenade. I was quite tired, but I was calm because it was a very quiet precinct. It is a hidden spot of Shibu Onsen.

A shrine in the mountains
