Millennium Ancient Kiln

There is a thousand-year-old cave dwelling in Qiankun Bay Scenic Area, Yanchuan County. The kiln mouths of northern Shaanxi caves are mostly regular arcs, the upper arch circle, the lower end straight, reflecting the architectural philosophy of the Han nationality "Tianyuan place", and the two-hole ancient kilns are arched with spires, and the ordinary caves in northern Shaanxi have a clear difference. It is said that in 2001, the Central Academy of Fine Arts professor Yuan Zhilin came to Yanchuan to investigate the national culture, and was deeply attracted by the two holes of dilapidated caves. It has been identified that the pattern of the kiln is the image of the Xiongnu warrior, and the two holes were built in the Helian Bobo era, which is about 1,500 years ago, when the Xiongnu invaded the Central Plains.
