Ciyun Temple

Ciyun Temple is commonly known as "Guzi Temple" and "Nun Nunnery". In 1925, Li Du, the guardian of Yilan County, a Fengxian warlord, built Ciyun Temple for his sister who became a monk here. The temple seat faces south from the north, and the main buildings are the Four Kings Hall, the Three Holy Halls and the Dragon King Hall, which are neatly arranged on a central axis from south to north, of which the Dragon King Hall faces the north. The front mountain gate is in the style of three archways, and the three vigorous and powerful characters of "Ciyun Temple" written by Mr. Zhao Puchu, the president of the Buddhist Association of China, are engraved on the middle. Against the backdrop of various beasts and bells fluttering in the wind under the eaves, it is extraordinarily magnificent and magnificent.
