    Literary monuments

    Original Text

This is a monument in Verny Park, a 5-minute walk from Shioiri Station on the Keikyu Line, and is located 6th from the seaside side (the first is the Navy monument). It seems that he wrote the impression of the Hansho Hobashira lined up in Yokosuka Port.

they say, yokosuka and tadahobo's winter trees.

    Original Text

There was a monument of Shiki Masaoka at Verney Park in Yokosuka. The monument had a phrase "Yokosuka and Tadaho Tsubo's Winter Tree". The phrase of the monument is said to have been written by Shiki, who visited Yokosuka, to the impression of the sails (which means "hobashira") that are connected in Yokosuka Port.

A monument of Shiki Masaoka in Verney Park

    Original Text

At the southern end of Verney Park, there was a place called Sakura no Hiroba, where Shiki Masaoka's monument was built. The monument was engraved with a haiku called "Yokosuka and Tadahoboshi's Winter Tree". When I looked up what "sailing " was, it was said that it was the sail pillar of the ship. It seems to be Yokosuka.

There was also a stone monument with a phrase written by Shiki Masaoka near the Navy-related stone monument in Verny Park. It may have something to do with my friend Masayuki Akiyama, but I'm not sure if I'm a little silent.

    Original Text

It was a stone monument in Verney Park in Yokosuka, and there was a literary monument of Shiki Masaoka. I didn't come to the point because I wasn't very interested in Shiki Masaoka, but the phrase of the monument is that Shiki Masaoka visited Yokosuka during the summer vacation when he was a student and wrote the impression of Habashira connected to Yokosuka Port.
