#2024wish A nice wide park in the middle of farm country on the Miura Peninsula. This has a few big playgrounds for kids that just started walking to school-aged. Also has lots of other fun options like a steep hill to slide down on, a small petting zoo, as well as a small amusement area with a few rides like a Ferris wheel, and a merry go round. Entrance to the park is free but parking is not (¥1000). Entry to the petting zoo area also is not free (¥320/adult, kids under 3 are free) as well as the amusement rides (prices vary depending on age and ride). There's also an area where you can throw a BBQ but you need to make a reservation ahead of time for most of the year, except for the winter months. There's also some small cafes around the grounds of you get hungry and lots of open space for a picnic should you decided to bring your own food as well. Other than the lengthy drive (about 30 minutes from Yokosuka Naval Base), we love coming here and our toddler enjoys feeding the animals (especially the capybaras)! Definitely recommend on a nice day out!

#2024wish This is a wonderful day out with lots of entertainment for children. There are two large outdoor playgrounds (one of which is brand new) and next to the first playground is a bicycle/tricycle circuit, a go cart circuit, archery, mechanized rides for young children and a pond with swan boats. Beyond that are several paddling pools to cool off in (shower and changing room are nearby). The park also has a petting zoo, a hill for kids to slide down, and an indoor play area for young kids (in one of the glass houses). We spent all day there. There is also apparently a hot bath there and vegetable picking but we've never done those. Various snack shops around seem to be mostly closed during the week but you can find something. We usually take a picnic but there is a restaurant. Many of the rides, etc you pay about ¥310 for each one so it does add up quickly. Parking was ¥1000 and there is no entrance fee. In 2024, I want to visit this place again.

#2024wish Lovely beautiful landscape at the “Soreiyu-no-Oka” (Le Soleil).Amazing outlook seeing beautiful Mt. Fuji over the field mustard garden at sundown in Miura point, Kanagawa.Fun attractions such as zipline, ferris wheel, go cart etc. Good spot if you have children. Nice ocean view. And food court with pretty tasty food. I wish to travel more this year.

Parking is free for U.S. military! Family-friendly sunflower field with beautiful views. My family went during sunflower season. In addition to sunflower viewing, there are lots of activities that will keep you and your kids entertained. There is a pirate ship playground with different sized slides, trampolines, a grass slide, and even a ferris wheel. We arrived a bit late, so I recommend going early in order to experience every activity. There were always restrooms and refreshment areas to cool off. We will come again! #2024wish
