Xida Fortress

Beiguanbao Village is located in the ancient town of Nuanquan in Jixian County. It was built in the Ming Dynasty, Xishan-style Fort Gate Building. It is the largest of the three castles in Nuanquan Ancient Town, and is a typical Ming Dynasty military village. The terrain in the castle is complicated and diverse, and the big castle sets are small castles, forming a double-layer defense line, ancient granaries, and ancient secret roads. Looking up, the upper door upstairs hangs the "big Kui Tianxia" gold plaque.

It is close to Xidaping at the intersection of the G109 National Road. If you come from Beijing, follow G109 all the way; the other way is G6, and you can go directly to Xidaping when you come down from Huashao Camp and follow G109 to the south. Xidaping is located on the east side of the road in G109, which is very eye-catching. If you get off the road from the west side, you can only park your car under the fort and then walk up. If you bypass the village on the east side, you can park your car at the nearest place to the fort. At present, only some roads have been hardened, if catching up with the rain and snow, the road will be quite muddy. It is impossible to see whether Xidaping has bricks in the old time, but the only solid loess presented in front of it is majestic enough. The remnant wall under the sunset is like a monument, recording the bonfire, wolf smoke, swords and lightsabers, maybe there are countless white bones buried under the wall, no matter where they come from, they have cast a history.

Xidaping Military Fort was built during the period of Daming Hongwu, which was the era of the founding emperor Zhu Yuanxuan. For more than 200 years, this castle has been guarded by the Ming army and is a real military fort. Below the Xidaping Junbao is a road from Zhangzhou to Xuanhuafu, known as the Xuanqi Ancient Road in ancient times. Xidaping Junbao is holding the throat road, and the location is very dangerous.
