Lotus flowers in Aisai City, Aichi Prefecture There is a famous lotus spot in Aisai City, Aichi Prefecture. The best time to see the lotus flowers is around mid-July. The lotus flowers start to bloom early in the morning and close at noon, so you need to go between morning and noon. The ground is muddy the day after it rains, so I recommend wearing sneakers. There is a roadside station nearby, where you can park your car and enjoy the view. The roadside station also sells fresh vegetables, so when I go there, I buy some to take home.
