Fillet o fish:“beautiful cave, but extremely crowded! paid 10euros/pax to rent a kayak to get to the cave. cave was cold in late Sep, but still worth a visit”
lydia_hong:“The beach and rock landscape here is a bit like the Twelve Saints Rocks in Australia. The beautiful caves have always been something I wanted to visit. I took a Tuk-Tuk all the way along the blue coastline... Even in winter, it is still so intoxicating.”
LAKSIKA:“Lagos is a town in southern Portugal's Algarve region. It’s known for its walled old town, cliffs and Atlantic beaches. Steep wooden steps lead to the sandy cove of Praia do Camilo. The nearby cliffs of Ponta de Piedade offer sweeping headland views and a lighthouse. Igreja de Santo António, an ornate 18th-century church, sits across from the Castelo dos Governadores, a castle with a baroque facade and watchtowers.”
_TI***rl:“The entire experience was incredible from start to finish, you can add a second day for a small cost which we did because my little girl swam with a dolphin the first day. We went during October 2023, the park was decorated and had extra features such as face painting, a scary (actually scary) tunnel walk through and a little one for little people too. The pirate show is fantastic fun, as is each animal display AND the water park too! The staff are lovely and the pirates roaming tbe park after!”
TheForkUser:“Fantastic food and staff as always. Myself and my partner have dined at the Palm Beach on a number of occasions since 2022 and it never disappoints. There is a wonderful menu of fresh and excellent ingredients, I think I have tried most of the dishes at this stage and all are fabulous. The staff are excellent and lovely characters. Thank you to the Palm Beach team for making our visit so wonderful yet again.”
TheForkUser:“Really like the Pizza here . It was my favorite. A thin, crispy crust with both traditional and some inventive toppings. The staff are very warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!”
TheForkUser:“An excellent Portuguese restaurant Went on evening of medieval fair in Silves and booked online as reviews were goodWe were a bit put out by the unappealing old fashioned pictures of menu on walls outside which would have normally stopped us going in if walking by . However everything was very good . Delicious simple tasty Portuguese food , grilled fish , meat , shellfish all very well cooked . Service very helpful and friendly , good wine list .Very reasonable prices”
TheForkUser:“Spectacular meal! My husband got the steak of the day which came with fries and a salad. He pushed away the salad and ate every last bite of the steak and fries and said it was incredibly delicious. Then reluctantly went to the salad and said ‘wow, even the salad is exceptional!’. It had red beet carpaccio and pomegranate seeds. Looked lovely. He rarely touches salads but finished this one : ) I had the rice with seafood for two which was enough for three. Wow! Just wow! The fresh herbs and light broth with large pieces of crab, shrimp and mussels made it so special. Just don’t wear a white blouse as the broth can splash a bit when cutting into the crab claws. Highly recommend! Would definitely dine there again. Our server, Antonio, was very kind and helpful.”
TheForkUser:“Had booked here for 80th birthday lunch for my mother in law, after a quick search and based on reviews online. What a lovely place. Service was excellent -special mention to lovely Katja! Food was great and very reasonably priced. Lovely wine and puddings. Mother in law was delighted with complimentary pudding and gift after Katja found out it was her birthday. It made her day very special. Highly recommend this place. Unexpected surprise in this location -lots of locals eating -always a good sign. Thanks again for a great meal 😊.”
TheForkUser:“Brilliant little restaurant on the beach front of Armacao de Pera. I loved everything about this place. Quality of food, service was friendly and professional. Prices are great and the experience was top!”
TheForkUser:“Beautiful restaurant, excellent food and a lovely setting. The hosts were really welcoming and interacted and were really eager to please. They are working hard to establish an alternative choice to Alcantarilha and having tried all the other local establishments would definitely recommend giving it a try. Dean and Gwen Hill.”
