水漫三楼:“The Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, located in the city of Yasir, was built during the Timurid era. It stands as an outstanding example of Timurid architecture, making a significant contribution to the development of Islamic religious architecture and providing a unique testimony to the cultural and architectural advancements of Central Asia. In 2003, the World Heritage Committee inscribed the mausoleum as a World Heritage Site. The mausoleum we see today was rebuilt 233 years after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi's death, under the orders of Timur. Southern Kazakhstan's ancient cities, situated along the ancient Silk Road, made significant contributions to the economic and cultural development of the entire Central Asian region, serving as centers of trade, crafts, art, and a rich religious and spiritual life. Among these cities, the Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi in Yasir is a particularly striking example.”
