We stayed in Sunrise apartments in the beginning of June. First of all I'd like to say a huge thank you to Nicko and Tonya, the hotel manager and his wife. They are amazing people,very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They made us feel at home during our stay. The hotel itself is located on a hill, but that's what gives you the best view of sunset and sunrise. They have a beautiful rooftop terrace with sunbeds, umbrellas, tables and chairs. It's a Beautiful spot with sea and mountain views to watch the sunset and have dinner in a relaxing atmosphere. The room was very clean and spacious with everything you needed and it was cleaned 4 times during our stay(10 days). All bedding and towels changed every time they cleaned the room. The cleaner was amazing too. She did such a great job. The pool was very clean and very pleasant, the water check was done by Nicko daily. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool. The hotel was approximately a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minutes walk to the supermarket, which was quite good and had everything we needed. Restaurants and taverns are all located within walking distance,but if you want to rent a car or scooter, Nicko will help you with that too. He is very approachable and helpful. We were very happy with our choice of accommodation and highly recommend Sunrise apartments to other guests. Thank you Nicko for everything you have done for us and put up with us all 10 days and made our Crete experience unforgettable.

Apartment Stella Paradise by Checkin is very conveniently located in Hersonissos - the main city beach is just 5 minutes walk around a corner, 10 minutes of pleasant walk to the city promenade with restaurants and bars, and no more than 20 minutes walk along the coastal line of hotels, restaurants and small pebble beaches to the best nearest sandy beach of Sarandari. The apartments themselves are quite budget style, but at the same time is very comfortable accommodation option for travelers who appreciate the optimal combination of price and quality. Our room consisted of a small bedroom, and a living room with a sofa bed and a small kitchen equipped with a stove, fridge and kettle. For those who prefer to cook while traveling, there is a necessary minimum of cooking equipment, but we have ordered breakfasts, which were covered by Stella herself the owner of the apartments. I would like to say a special thank to Stella for all her help during our stay - she recommended wonderful restaurants and beaches, ordered taxi and table in the restaurant, and solved all the minor issues we had, this made travel planning very easy and made our stay very comfortable. Despite the fact that this is not a hotel but a complex of apartments, the room was cleaning every day. And a big advantage was the presence of a terrace where it was convenient to dry bathing suits after the beach, and drink a glass of wine in the evening. I will definitely stay here if I come to Hersonissos again.

Had a fantastic stay. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable place to rest. I chose this hotel because it’s perfectly located between Heraklion city center and the airport. It’s about a 30 minute walk to the airport, ideal for a late-night or early-morning flight, and it’s right next to two bus stops with direct connections to the center. I booked this hotel last minute and had great communication with the staff beforehand about the possibility of a double bed. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade and it turned out to be one of the best rooms I stayed in during my three-month trip! The room was split over two levels, with the bed upstairs and a clean bathroom, workspace, sofa, and even a small terrace downstairs where you can relax. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The service was also wonderful: the woman at reception was really kind, and even when I checked out in the middle of the night, the staff member on duty was friendly and welcoming too. Thank you!

The hotel is very conveniently located 30 meters from the sea and has its own sunbeds. I had a room on the 1st floor (other rooms are different, I recommend to negotiate the 1st floor when you book). It was an almost perfect spacious apartment for 1-2 people. ”Almost” only because the kitchen is really basic, you cannot really cook anything more complex than a sausage. On the other hand, why would you cook even a sausage, if there are so many nice places with excellent food around? The bed, bathroom, furniture and everything else are all in excellent condition. Large terrace with a view on the yard and even on a bit of the see. The best part are Maria and Veronika, who keep it all in order and clean and kindly help you out with all your problems. Just do not be shy to ask. I had a very late flight home, so they let me land in another extra room until evening. Truly appreciate warm personal attitude which is impossible in bigger fancy resorts. Today, I have landed back home after spending amazing week at this family-run hotel. I can definitely tell you that it was one of the best holidays I have ever had, filled with nice people and great Greek weather. The hotel is located very conveniently, you have a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Lidl is just 5-7 min walk. Next to the hotel there was a great coffee shop- Move on. Next to the hotel there is a bus stop which will take you to Chania city centre for a nice promenade and a delicious dinner. Hotel itself is of an apartment style with amazing pool which was always well-maintained and clean. Every day the girls made sure that our room is clean and we have new towels, and they were making quite impressive compositions from flowers and towels😁 The manager of the hotel was extremely friendly and always dealt efficiently with any requests we had. Breakfast was delicious and overall our stay was extremely enjoyable. Definitely visit this hotel to feel the amazing Greek hospitality.

Really enjoyed my stay at Porta suits. I have Booked it last minute in front of the airport at my arrival haha! Special thanks to the receptionist, what a friendly woman! Had lots of conversations and she was the best. The room was superb!! Really stylish, modern and warm. The jacuzzi top notch👌🏻. The bed is super comfortable and wow what a big kitchen with washingmachine, dishwasher and oven. Everything you need is here. The city center Minas cathedral spot is very near, less than 10 minute walk.if you don’t like walking, you can also take a bus. The bus stop is nearby and only costs 1,20 euros. It takes you to the big busstation at the port or you go out earlier.  Again, perfect stay! Will definitely come back with my family! Thank you again for the great service!

Good day. For the money that we paid for a hotel-hotel worthy! Good, solid repair. Everything is working. Clean toilet. There is everything you need in the kitchen. True frying pan scratched into the board. But this is also a question for tourists! Why are you spoiling hotel property !? After you still come guests !! Well, a hotel, we could already change this stuff to a new pan. Also, called the hotel, be so kind as to comply with the rules. The number of towels is not normal. Only 2 per person And the first 5 days, these were beach brown towels, then they brought white ones. Also, there is no quenched paper. The cleaning lady said that it wasn’t allowed and buy paper yourself at the hotel’s store! This also violates the norms of the hotel business! There are also no toiletries. Even elemental soap. Otherwise, everything is tolerable! Clean well, clean everywhere. The question now is different: to Trip through which we booked this hotel. In the voucher from the company indicated meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) Upon check-in at the hotel, we were denied meals! They stated that they do not have free food. And the fact that we were deceived by the company in which we paid for the tour! As a result, no one fed us! Voucher from the company. Food trip and hotel voucher without food in my arms. I will file complaints with the relevant authorities!

We booked the Hotel for 3 nights.Hotel was overbooked. In the 3 days we could not actually move into our booked room. We had to move 3 times!! Customer service is non existant and the staff does not care about the customer`s desires. Manager Yiannys refused to talk to customers and acted like a real, i mean real ***** At the end we accepted a free night in the apartment building from Anna s house in town without a pool. The pictures in the internet do not reflect the true appearence of Annas house, which was only 1 out of 4 hotels that they use. Every day people complained and were moved from hotel to hotel with golfcarts. It was impossible to miss all this happening. Never had a worse situation than this in my whole life.
