It was definitely worth the money it’s a nice cheap hotel especially if you’re flying back into Manchester or even flying out and are looking for somewhere affordable to stay for the night as it’s so close to the airport literally a 2 minute walk to terminal 2. The room itself although it’s small it’s a great room for the night the shower was great the bed was comfy. The breakfast is a little continental no hot food just pastries, toast and cereal etc. the staff were lovely and friendly too.
Overall 4.5/5 great for the one night stay after or before your holiday :)
nice hotel, location is right outside of airport T1 and T3, 3 minutes' walk.very clean and quiet, got everything we need, room is a little bit small, Apart from the bed there is no much space.Good for people just want a night sleep Before flying

Stayed here with my daughter for the Olivia Rodrigo concert. Usually stay in a Premier Inn but this was so much better. Only downside was a squeaky sliding door on the bathroom and someone running in the corridor at 2am. Overall, a lovely quirky hotel and would stay again 😀
There was an issue with this booking, and the same was made by mistake on the evening of the 12th of August and was made for the 12th of August instead of the 13th. The hotel was not full, and when I contacted Trip.com and the hotel reception, I was made to make a new booking and no refund was offered for the room. The people and businesses in the United Kingdom have been known to be very empathetic and humane, unlike the US and do understand other human beings. This was not the case here, and I was shown the refund policy by the hotel and the website that is trip.com. Even from trip I did expect more as I booked for the 13th too from their website. Thus, not a great experience. Very disappointed with Trip.com not even refund the taxes. The gym at the hotel is very small. Near the water is good.

Breakfast: The breakfast offering was underwhelming, with limited selection and quality. For instance, some guests have reported issues like grey/green bacon and a lack of variety, making it less than satisfactory for the price .
Room Amenities: The rooms do not come equipped with refrigerators, which was inconvenient for storing perishable items. While some Moxy locations may provide fridges upon request, this is not guaranteed and depends on availability .
Lobby Space: The lobby area is quite small and can become crowded, especially during peak hours. This limited space makes it challenging to relax or work comfortably in the common areas.
Overall, while the hotel's location is convenient, the lack of basic amenities and limited breakfast options detracted from the overall experience. I would recommend considering other accommodations in Dublin that offer better value and comfort.

The hotel is conveniently located near the bus station, convenience stores, and restaurants. A water kettle is provided, and I found the mattress quite comfortable. Since it’s close to the train tracks, you might occasionally hear trains passing by. Staffs are friendly as well. Overall, I’d rate it 5/5.

Overall the stay was good. However, the service fell below our expectations. The toilets had ran out of shower gel and despite requesting for a refill, there was no action at all even after checking out. The breakfast wasn’t that enjoyable as well, but for the price we paid, we wouldn’t have expected any better.
It was a fuss free hotel with breakfast at unbeatable prices! Value for money I would say. And there is a bar directly downstairs. Overall I would say it is nice to stay just few days. Close to the airport but still gotta Uber.

Sleek design, towels and sheets are clean, shower water pressure strong. However, room is smaller and city view is facing an office building compared to images shown on app.

Location is excellent- right next to Piccadilly station. The room was very tasteful, retaining just the right amount of period features. The staff were fantastic and let us check in a little early. The kitchenette is a very helpful addition to the room. We really liked the mattress, firm but incredibly comfortable. Overall, a great stay.

GGuest UserHotel is excellent room and views are lovely. Location is excellent and majority of staff were nice. Only a few issues they give and charge you for doubles in the bar when the menu only gives single prices. The response from the barmaid was you never specified a single when that should be as standard. Also take 50 pound a night for cover in case you spend in the hotel but only refunded 97.60 for the 2 nights. Although we didn’t spend anything on the room. The hotel is super but just those 2 things took the shine of a really great stay.
SSeñorHotelA great hotel near the airport. The shuttle is 10 quid and the hotel is clean with friendly staff. Downpoints are that parking can be busy sometimes and the pull up switch between the shower and bath tap can be a bit troublesome (room 719) and the same in some other rooms I have stayed in. Food and bar available and 24hour reception.
NNayomithedivaLoved my stay at this Hotel. It was my third time staying at this hotel. The aesthetics of the Hotel are really nice. The spaces in the hotel are modern with a touch of luxury. The front desk ladies that I met during my stay were welcoming, friendly and had good vibes.Nothing beats a warm welcome.
Check in was quick and easy and very professional. I forgot the name of the lady that checked us in but she was fabulous. We checked in on September 4th 2024 between 12:20-12:50 so the lady that was sat on the right side of the main desk at that time did really well n checking us in.
The breakfast was okay , but it kinda left me wanting more in terms of selection. Maybe beef sausages or even chicken sausages could be added???
But it was still good nevertheless.
The location of the hotel is also pretty good as you are able to go to access many restaurants… and shopping points.
Distance from the Machester Piccadilly Train station from this hotel is super convenient as well.
Would totally recommend this hotel😊😊😊

GGuest UserWhat can I say. Entrance to hotel is nice as you walk and goes down there. Place is clean yes, but shows age. Lifts work and large. But, going down press button. But, blanked out or no indicator or level. Room and whole level 4 I was on had heating on middle of heat wave. Got to Room and found vents for air con, but busted control. Light fitting in bathroom blinked, Room. Felt aged and had open light bulb in closet. Was clean yes, but didn't feel 100 level. No way to turn heating off when I came back from gig. Ended up running Bath on. Min temp to cool down and sleep and off. By 4 am room with basic fan was just about cool enough to sleep. On entry back to hotel from gig had heavy handed security list checking even though guests had cards. Got my room no mixed up. But, gave name and ended to being marched to the desk to confirm my room and that I'd paid. Security guard told me that there is no way I had booked in when I had. No apology when it's confirmed I was a guest. Wouldn't stay again as hotel needs clear investment and feels like it would be a 40 quid a night level normally, but gig pricing raised costs. Now have a bad back and aching from sleeping in a bath for 90 quid and generally sore and tired. First time using Britainia should of gone with Travel lodge, IBis Brands or Premier Inn as nice front, but very dated and poor brand and rooms.
TtravelammiThis was my second visit. My first stay was good and I was happy. Not this time and it was only because at 7 am until evening, there was a strange noise coming from the side of the room. It started with two bangs, then sound of machine or a pulley. First I thought it was the lift but then I heard whoosh of water so I assumed it was a water pump. Then two more bangs and it would continue for 3 minutes and stop. It would repeat after 3 minutes. It went on and on and I couldn't sleep extra. In the afternoon I couldn't take a nap. At least in the night it was quiet. I spoke to lady at the reception at she said there were no more single rooms. Then she asked me how long I was staying and I said one more night ( I was there for two nights ). Then she repeated there were no more rooms. She said maintenance will come and have a look. Three hours after when I went back to the reception, and asked the lady what time the maintenance personnel would come, she called them but there was no answer. She checked the time and made a guess the reason they might not be answering is that they might be on a lunch break and promised to send them to my room as soon as they returned. I said to her that even though they are unable to change the room, I wanted them to know that this is a problem and it was annoying me. She made sure to write my report. The lady was really trying to help me and was apologetic but no maintenance personnel cam eo the room and no one said what that noise was.
The breakfast was English and as it is at hotels. Tidy and well organised dining hall and friendly staff. The room was small and had a small window with curtains which was not hooked properly so in the night, the light from the building outside shone in the room so had to fiddle a bit with the curtain to cover. It was still a comfortable room if it wasn't for the banging noise and the machine/pulley whizzing.
GGuest UserFirst time at the Midland, stayed 1 night and it was a very nice stay. Room didn’t have a view but it was only one night so not too bothered. Shower was decent, everywhere clean and bed was very comfortable. We paid for breakfast too and plenty of choice available and again very nice and filled us up for the day. Overall a brilliant stay
Ccindy0072I discovered this hidden gem by accident. I had almost given up on finding a hotel that was close enough to the airport as well as to local shopping and had ac. There are only two things I have a problem with in regards to this place. Please note there is not an elevator or lift as the UK states. The other draw back is there is no way to shield the light in the bathroom area. It is hard to describe. There is a beautiful glass door to the right and left in the bath area with a sink in the middle of the space. If one has to get up to use the facilities the light being turned on glares in the face of the other one in bed. One other note is to be careful when closing the glass door. When I closed the door, my finger got closed in the door and it actually cut my finger below the cuticle. After 3 days, my finger is blue and sore.
While the hotel is directly under the local airport's flight pattern, we never heard planes unless we were outside.
The grounds are astounding as is the building itself. Make sure to check out the artwork throughout the place. If you like hidden staircases, watch out.
The place appears to be kid friendly. There is a fabulous playground adjacent to the property. Make sure to purchase duck food for the locals.
The bar, while somewhat limited in its offerings, was suitable for us. As to cost, the prices were comparable if not better than other bars/pubs we have visited..
We did not dine in the restaurant, but from what I say, the food looked amazing. The young man working reception was so very nice to help with our luggage as well as anything else we may have needed. The young ladies working in the bar were also very nice. In fact, they were so embarrassed by my asking to take their photo. They said no one had ever asked to take their photo.
JjS-A solid stay with all the essentials you’d expect from a standard hotel. Check-in was simple and efficient, making for a smooth start to the stay. I appreciated the nice coffee machine on the second floor—great for a quick caffeine fix. The rooms and common areas were clean, and the staff provided good service throughout.
Overall, a reliable and pleasant experience.
