The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable.
Effective relaxing space.
Breakfast is a little cheap but of good quality.
A pleasant and interesting staff to satisfy the client.
I strongly recommend !
The sanitation is OK, and parking at the door is free from 7pm to 9am. Opposite is the police station. The security environment in the entire city is very good, but it will be better here.
Family with 1 adult and 2 children. Without being delivered by Trip.com, I had to pay a surcharge of nearly 100 Euros. Family composition has not been announced to trip.com
A common problem in French hotels, no slippers and toiletries, capsule coffee and tea and hair dryers, a beautiful seaside balcony to watch the sunset, a restaurant and bar on the first floor, the restaurant has a full range of food but not many choices, the bar's cocktails are quite good but the service is slow, the room and bathroom are considered large in Europe, the hotel also has a panoramic sea view room that is larger and more expensive, you can choose it if you have the conditions
Here's a unique hotel - housed in a old mansion from the 1900s. This means that each room in the original wing is a little different and 'eclectic'. There's also a new wing with newer rooms, a spa, a swimming pool (sorta heated), a bistro and a 1 Michelin star restaurant.
Pros:
- Unique style of hotel that's set away from the hustle/bustle of the Etritat town.
- Helpful staff
- Complimentary bakes and hot drinks from 4-6pm
- Michelin-star restaurant on site (but it was closed during our visit)
- Comfortable beds, good water pressure and a bathtub
- Professional grade Nespresso machine in-room with 4 pods (2x decaf) + nice tea bags
- Grounds are cute, with a resident cat, fireplace and pleasant garden-ish spaces.
Cons:
- Cleanliness - we discovered a swarm of ants crawling behind the curtain. We think it was some food that wasn't cleaned away from the previous guest that attracted the ants. This was gross.
- Room styling may not be to everyone's tastes - suggest you ask to view a room before you move your luggage in.
- Narrow stairs to rooms in main building, was abit hard to get luggage up to but they can get help if needed.
- Location could be a con for some as it's a good 10-12 min walk into the main down down a high.
- Parking spaces were limited.
- Breakfast is pricey at 25 euro - there's a great boulangerie in town Maison Piquenot that you can get good croissants, baguettes from.
- Overall abit pricey for the value you get.
The location is everything, right in front of the beach. Love the theme of Jules Vernes (name of hotel) and Arsène Lupin which resonated in the rooms. Both of whom had strong associations with Étretat. The building has a very iconic façade.
We had a village-facing room as the sea-facing ones were not available during booking but it had also a pretty decent view. Coffee provided at the hallway at one's disposal. Tea in the room. No AC, so very warm and stuffy at night, could hardly sleep. Wouldn't recommend opening the windows cos of mozzies.
Breakfast spread was generous and delicious. Huge croissants! Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room is relatively large in Europe. And it is the modern style I like. I don't like the old European hotel with a musty smell. Breakfast is not too rich but it is ok. The price is quite high.

LLuqman EdwardLocation wise near to Mont Saint Michel and the view is breathtaking. The hotel is under construction but dont worry you still can get the view of Mont Saint Michel
JJoe the world citizenThe hotel is located inside the gate. They provide a parking space which costs €12.50, way more affordable than the parking outside. The staff can give the code to enter the gate. There is a shuttle to Mont Saint-Michel right outside the hotel every 10 min until 1 am. The room is clean and comfortable. However the carpet outside is a little old. It reminded me like a motel in the States. Overall it’s a good stay and very convenient for visiting Mont Saint-Michel.
GGaétan96If you’re seeking a comfortable and modern stay near Mont Saint-Michel, the Altos Hotel & Spa in Avranches (often referred to as ‘Atos’ in user queries) stands out for its welcoming environment, wellness amenities, and easy access to local attractions. This hotel is praised for its contemporary design, spacious and bright rooms, and a serene spa area featuring sauna, jacuzzi, and massage services. It’s ideally situated just a short drive from Mont Saint-Michel, offering guests a tranquil base away from the crowds. Warm, attentive service and local restaurant recommendations from staff enhance the experience, while amenities like secure parking, fast Wi-Fi, and a generous breakfast buffet contribute to a relaxing and convenient stay.
FFlo DELIGNYThe hotel is a very nice hotel and is very comfortable and comfortable. A kitchen room and living room plus a room and a large bathroom. We reserved for one night and extended our stay for a second night. Parking cost for one night (€9) but the possibility of parking free at the port, what we have done. A small door brings you to your residence (only 2mn walk) and also allows you to go to the city. I strongly recommend this hotel!

DDrignoidThis place is in a really good location and easy to find. Travel light though as there are no lifts and narrow staircases to carry your luggage. As most old places in Europe there is no air conditioning, so be prepared. You needed to step over the bath to shower so take that into consideration too. Our room was clean and had a small refrigerator, bonus in Europe. The restaurant has a good menu and drink selection. English is spoken, if required. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
