The 10 year Anniversary of this epic challenge is expected to be a memorable experience for all involved. Registered runners for the OSR30 are required to recruit their own bike escort to accompany them throughout the race. Those without a bike escort will not be scored. To ensure smooth registration, both the runner and their bike escort must list each other as teammates. This race will feature electronic timing, providing accurate results for all participants. Participants can look forward to a well-equipped venue with amenities such as restrooms and bag check. All registered athletes, including both runners and cyclists, will receive branded gear, food, and drink, as well as other amenities. In 2023, the winning teams showcased exceptional talent and determination. The overall winning team, consisting of Olympic Triathlete Greg Billington as the runner and Olympic Rower Nareg Guregian as the bike escort, triumphed over the 4X Champion Team. The race was challenging, with cold and rainy conditions, but Greg and Nareg conquered the difficult course in approximately 34 miles, finishing in 3:19:26, about 5 minutes ahead of the returning Champs. The Women's Race was equally thrilling, with Katarina Mayer and Robert Dery emerging as the victorious team. They overtook their teammates, Maddy Nakada and Conor Griffin, on the final bridge crossing. Katarina and Robert completed the approximately 34-mile race in 4:08:54. Race Day for the 2024 OSR30 is set for Saturday, April 6th. The race will begin at 12:00pm and cover a distance of approximately 30 miles. Scoring will end at 5:00pm, with a cut-off time of 10:00 minutes per mile average pace. The exact venue for the race is yet to be determined, but it will be located in Manhattan, New York.
