Sound Healing (Singing Bowl) Therapy Certification Level 1 | 203 Henderson Rd
Jul 19, 2025 (UTC+8)ENDED
Singapore
https://redefinewellness.asia/courses/sound-healing-certification/
Everything in nature vibrates at a unique frequency, including plants, crystals, celestial bodies and, of course, our bodies. When our natural frequencies become “out of tune”, the body tends to go “out of balance” triggering a disease that manifests in our emotional, mental, energy or physical body. The program integrates singing bowls and breath as well as other modalities to understand the effectiveness of the interventions.
Sound healing works on the scientific principle that everything in nature, including our bodies vibrate at a unique frequency, which must be balanced. When our natural frequencies get imbalanced, they trigger diseases and emotional imbalances.
ReDefine Wellness brings you an integrated certification program for Sound Healing (Singing Bowl) Therapy.
This one day Level 1 practitioner course introduce you to sound therapy to balance the body, mind and your energy. You will learn how to conduct a Sound Healing session for yourself, loved ones and clients including :
- How to choose your personal singing bowl that resonates with your frequency
- How to use sound therapy to cleanse the aura and energy centers
- How to use sound therapy to deepen relaxation and bring the body into balance
- Different techniques to play the singing bowls and to facilitate one to one healing session

Yamaha Primary Course (Age 4 - 5.5) @ Sembawang Shopping Centre | Yamaha (Music School) - Sembawang Shopping Centre
Jul 19, 2025 (UTC+8)ENDED
Singapore
Yamaha welcomes all parents with children aged 4 to 5.5 to an exciting musical journey at our Yamaha Music School. Come together as a family and have a taste of the Yamaha learning experience for
FREE
!
About the Program
Yamaha Primary Course is a group lesson where your child will be learning the 3 basic elements of music: rhythm, melody, and harmony, through hearing, singing, and keyboard playing.
At this age, they absorb information like a sponge and imitate everything they see and hear. Children at this age show a remarkable development in their sense of hearing, which is why it's the best time to cultivate the basic ability to enjoy music.
Group classes teach children to play as one with their classmates in in-class ensembles. When children listen to others play, stay in time by making eye contact with each other when their respective parts begin, and maintain balance as they play, it’s a perfect picture of teamwork. We hope you will give your child this wonderful opportunity to take group lessons and learn the skills they need to build trust-based relationships while having fun with music.

Thisaivegam 2025
Education Is the Goal, Not Just Grades
[கல்வியே குறி, மதிப்பெண்கள் அல்ல]
Kundavai, a high-achieving student, explodes when her groupmates Yusof and Tara modify her PowerPoint without permission. Her harsh words expose her obsession with grades over teamwork, leaving them hurt and defiant. When they quit the project, she realizes her mistake—school isn’t about scoring ‘A’s but learning collaboration and discovering passions. The clash forces her to reflect true education shapes character, not just marks. "The wise wield humility as their greatest strength." Will Kundavai mend bridges, or will her pride cost her more than a grade? A lesson on ego, respect, and the real purpose of learning.
Playwright Kaushik
Directed by Pooja and Harshita
Singapore Pledge [
சிங்கப்பூர் உறுதிமொழி]
What if the Singapore Pledge was just empty words? This gripping play-within-a-play reveals the shocking truth when students explore this theory. As they abandon the Pledge's principles, their classroom society crumbles racial tensions erupt, privilege divides friends, and harmony shatters. Why is the Pledge our nation's bedrock?
This isn't performance - it's a mirror held to our future. The Pledge was never just words. It's the active choice we make every day to be "one united person." Will you leave reciting - or believing?
Playwright and Directed by Pugalenthii
Kerani
[
கிராணி]
Ayyavu, a humble sweeper, endures humiliation from his arrogant supervisor, Maniyan, yet finds dignity in his labour. His sacrifices bear fruit when his son, Ilango, rises to a high-ranking position. But pride turns to restraint—Ayyavu fears his lowly status might shame Ilango. A moving story of silent struggles, parental love, and unspoken societal chains and how Education uplifts a person breaks societal hierarchies and chains. A raw, emotional storm of pride, shame, and the unbreakable chains of class. How far must a father go to set his child free?
Story by Pon.Sundaraju
Dramatized by Pugalenthii
Directed by Saran
Question mark
[கேள்விக்குறி]
After hitting rock bottom, betrayed by family, haunted by a tragic accident, and rejected by society, a broken youth wrote a suicide letter to his late mother. But in pouring out his pain, he awakens to a revelation: true love demands nothing in return. With newfound strength, he chooses life, vowing to rebuild himself with compassion and purpose.
Playwright Gajendran and Shiva
Directed by Vigneswaran and Gajendran
Vote: Difference &
Indifference
[வாக்கு வித்தியாசம்]
Vijayalakshmi's lies made her leader—her rival's reputation in ruins, her victory built on deceit. But when her father, Arasu, uncovers the truth, her empire of lies begins to crumble. Can a leader forged in dishonesty ever truly win? In a fiery clash of ambition and morality, one apology could redeem her... or destroy everything. Power is fragile. The truth is not. Will she fall from grace—or rise with integrity?
The play explores complex themes such as the impact of social media, the temptations of power, and the need to uphold ethical values in leadership roles. It raises important questions about the boundaries of ambition and the long-term implications of our actions.
Playwright Pooja
Directed by Anbarasan
Rabbit Tale [முயல்-வோம்]
Koko, a shy rabbit, falls in love with Panpan, a rabbit from a different burrow. When Panpan moves in to join Koko’s family, their parents resist due to their differences. With the help of friends Mottu and Pattu, Koko and Panpan try to bring their families together. This heartwarming story shows how friendship can overcome prejudice, teaching even rabbits to hop beyond boundaries and embrace acceptance.
Playwright Dr. Umayal
Directed by Kaaveya and Roopa
Let's Feast!
[
வாங்க சாப்பிடலாம்]
At a lively condominium BBQ, expats, and PRs—Oviya, KaviNila, and Sahana—bond over otak-otak and satay while dissecting Singaporean life. From navigating "kiasu" culture to decoding HDB rules, they share laughs and struggles, revealing how they’re adapting (or resisting) the city’s relentless pace. They joined Parasu and Guru.
A humorous, heartfelt take on belonging in Singapore’s melting pot.
Adapted from Pugalenthii’s Kavasam
Directed by Ambika and Kumutha
Udayasuriyan [
உதய சூரியன்]
Udayasuriyan nervously awaits his online crush, Kalaivani, at Fort Canning Hill, clutching a watermelon rind for identification. A case of mistaken identity leads him to Sathyavani, whose boyfriend, Mayandi, arrives dressed like a ruffian and acting cheaply. Disapproving, Udayasuriyan subtly advises Sathyavani that she deserves better—someone presentable and respectful and she breaks off their relationship.
Later, he meets Kalaivani who agrees to have coffee with him and her eight cousins.
When a devastated Mayandi appears, Udayasuriyan helps him realize that dressing well and behaving properly are key to being respected in a cosmopolitan society. The humorous yet meaningful encounter highlights the importance of self-improvement for Indian youths seeking acceptance in a modern, multicultural world.

From Seed to Tree: Fort Canning | Fort Canning Park
Jul 19, 2025 (UTC+8)ENDED
Singapore
The Kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took, and sowed in his field; while it is smaller than all seeds but when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in its branches. (Matthew 13:31-32)
From Seed to Tree: Fort Canning
is the second in Our Father's World's series of reflective nature walks. Carefully scripted for the location, we hope to bring you on an immersive time of reflection on God’s creation in a series of walks across our island. Volunteers from Wesley Methodist Church will be leading the walks.
It will be held at Fort Canning Park, situated right in the heart of the CBD. We will 'listen' to the stories that the trees of Fort Canning have to tell about God and reflect upon our relationship with our Creator.
The content of this iteration of our walk caters to a Christian audience, although all are welcome to join.
There are 4 available slots in total (9am, 9.15am, 2.45pm, 3.00pm). The 2 hour walks will be held in groups of 7, with one guide.
Tickets are first-come-first-serve.
