INAUGURAZIONE MOSTRA ECCELLENTI IN VAL BREMBANA I capolavori restaurati di Cusio e Mezzoldo 19 ottobre - 17 novembre 2024 Salone Papa Giovanni XXIII - Curia Vescovile di Bergamo Due straordinarie “macchine” devozionali vengono esposte nell’antico Palazzo Episcopale, dove fervono i lavori per il nuovo Museo Diocesano: il polittico di Cusio del bergamasco Antonio Boselli, oggetto di un integrale intervento di restauro e la pala di Mezzoldo, dipinta da Lattanzio da Rimini nel 1505, di cui viene presentato il recupero della cimasa in attesa della prosecuzione dei lavori sulla tavola principale. Dal confronto tra le due opere con un terzo polittico proveniente dall’abbazia di Sant’Egidio in Fontanella, nascono riflessioni che documentano il passaggio che avviene anche a Bergamo a fine Quattrocento dai complessi apparati lignei strutturati in una sequenza di figure, alla tavola unica che contiene in una sola scena tutti i personaggi, posti in reciproca relazione. La mostra è promossa da Fondazione Adriano Bernareggie da Le Terre dei Baschenis / arte e storia nelle antiche valli Averara e Stabina con il patrocinio dell'Ufficio dei Beni Culturali Ecclesiastici della Diocesi di Bergamo. Si tratta del primo ciclo di eventi musicali promossi dalla Biblioteca Victor de Sabata e Aldo Ceccato, inaugurata nel dicembre scorso presso palazzo Polli Stoppani a Bergamo. Il programma prevede un calendario di appuntamenti, a cadenza mensile, il lunedì pomeriggio, durante i quali i partecipanti potranno assistere, di volta in volta, a un concerto dal vivo e alla proiezione di un filmato storico. OPEN LECTURE: Jose Chavarria Date: Tuesday, November 12th, 2024 - 6pm Location: CIID, Via Astino, 16 - 24129 Bergamo BG, Italy Jose Chavarria is an Interaction Designer and Creative Technologist with a background in Industrial Design Engineering. He's a CIID alumni and has been working in the Interaction Design field since 2015. Jose started as an Interaction Engineer and later became an R&D Lead at a design studio in San Jose, Costa Rica where he created interactive art installations. He then joined CIID as resident faculty, managing the digital fabrication lab and mentoring students. After that, he worked as a Creative Technologist and Strategist for an architecture firm, designing AR and VR solutions, digital products, and interactive installations. Jose's work has been recognised by the Core77 Design Awards in 2021 for Speculative Design and Costa Rica Design Week in 2022 for Interactive Design. From encouraging sustainable habits to supporting those looking to quit smoking, behavioural design offers a framework for driving change in a persuasive yet non-coercive way. By blending psychology, design, and technology, we can create physical and digital environments that make better choices easier while respecting an individual's autonomy. This systemic, human-centered approach considers people, context, and ecosystems, transforming intentions into concrete actions. About Roberta Roberta Capellini is a behavioural scientist and design researcher with a background in psychology, holding a PhD in Social and Cognitive Psychology from the University of Milan-Bicocca. Her academic work focused on social attention, User Experience (UX), and digital behavioral change interventions. At Avanade, a joint venture of Accenture and Microsoft, she led Behavioural Design, User Research, and Service Design practices across sectors such as finance, healthcare, and utilities. Currently, Roberta is the Service Design and User Research Lead at UniCredit’s Customer Experience Design, the in-house design studio, and a lecturer at NABA. In her role, she combines quantitative and qualitative research with science-based insights to design services that support desired cognitive, emotional, and physical experiences. .......... Perché non riusciamo a farlo? Forse non siamo “ingegnerizzati” per farlo? Forse non siamo così intelligenti? Ma quando tutto sembra perduto avviene la più incredibile delle rivoluzioni. È draconiana e necessaria. Il senso fatalistico di inevitabilità è sollevato dalle nostre anime e la struttura sociale cambia per sempre e per il meglio. Ma è successo veramente? Può succedere veramente? Oppure è solo utopia, una storia di speranza che deve essere raccontata e poi inviata al Voyager 1 così che almeno lui possa tenere un’ultima finale reliquia della nostra civilizzazione che potrebbe essere giunta al termine del suo viaggio? La serata sostiene il progetto Un Mattone in Più promosso dall’Associazione Amici del Moyamoya. L’obiettivo di questo progetto è la realizzazione di una struttura accogliente con camere indipendenti, una cucina condivisa, un ampio terrazzo e tutti i comfort necessari, per offrire supporto logistico e morale ai pazienti e alle loro famiglie colpite dalla malattia di Moyamoya. A conclusione dello spettacolo, sarà possibile fare una donazione libera a sostegno di questo progetto. Insieme possiamo trasformare questo sogno in realtà. FALSTAFF chiede un altro boccale di vino. Una bionda ghiacciata, un bicchiere di prosecco, un calice di bianco e poi un altro ancora, chiede un whisky dietro l’ altro, una grappa e poi ancora un’ altra. Ma non basta. Per Falstaff l’ aperitivo non è una momentanea parentesi di svago, una pausa dal lavoro. È una festa costante, un presente compulsivo in cui i vizi fagocitano perennemente la ragione. Falstaff chiama il bar. E ll bar chiama Falstaff a creare un mondo diverso, che possa contrapporsi alla regola, al serio, al tempo e al dovere. Falstaff è l’eterno subalterno, il contraltare del potere costituito che tutto classifica divide e risparmia, è lo spreco che guarda i vari Enrico IV succedersi sul trono in nome della guerra, e da lì sotto esplode in una grassa risata. Graffiante e pericolosa più di ogni lotta armata. Capace forse di ribaltare le sorti di un sistema o, semplicemente, di crearne una spaccatura. Ma forse per Falstaff ridere non è una possibilità, è una scelta forzata. Il vecchio grassone è l’ ultimo atto del godimento e dissacrare il mondo è la sua condanna. Il suo corpo gigante e il suo ruolo di buffone sono una gabbia in cui lui, sempre perdente, sempre vessato, mai e poi mai preso sul serio, compie il consumato destino dell’ uomo deriso, dell’ ultimo, del perdente dimenticato dalla Storia. Allora ecco che vediamo Falstaff dà una prospettiva in cui non c’è nulla di dirompente o rivoluzionario. Il buffone forse è solo un servo maltrattato, un pungiball umano. Ma neanche questo basta. Falstaff è anche un maldestro arrampicatore sociale, un ladro impunito. Un amico fedele e un traditore meschino. La forma di Falstaff continua a cambiare fra le mani dei suoi autori. Nessuno riesce a prenderlo mai del tutto e forse è questo il punto. Poiché Falstaff muta forma, si traveste e si dissolve per poi apparire da un’ altra parte, in un’ altra opera, sempre gigante e sempre invisibile; sta come sfumando la sua morente risata, è ormai tradita la sua promessa rivoluzionaria.
