We are super excited to have you join us for a fun night at a new location! Tinker at Bampot isn't going anywhere, but we're excited to expand, connect with more communities and businesses. CREED's has an incredible space with big long tables ideal for crafting and tinkering together! ABOUT THE EVENT Tinker three ways! 1 - (Workshop) A guided custom portrait workshop (40 people max). 2 - (General Admission) Play with pre-cut out materials from the artist and build your own portraits and collages. 3 (also accessed with General Admission) - A tinker classic - show up empty handed and play with whatever you can find or bring your own creative projects to work in company of others. ABOUT THE CUSTOMIZED PORTRAIT WORKSHOP The custom workshop will guide you through a step-by-step lesson on how to create a paper portrait of yourself or anyone you'd like to create in paper form. This could be you, your friend, or your favourite author! After you purchase a workshop ticket, we will send you a form to submit a photo of the portrait you wish to replicate and we will have it printed and available to you upon arrival. Easy peasy! You will be supplied with every material needed to create a paper masterpiece, all you need to do is simply show up! We will have plenty of different coloured papers to choose from but you are of course welcome to bring your own kind of paper to play with as well. The event has been running for over a year now primarily out of Bampot House in Harbord Village. Welcome to Voice Jam - Improvised Singing Workshop and CircleSongs! Join us for a fun and interactive event where you can unleash your creativity through improvised singing and CircleSongs in the style of Bobby Mcferrins CircleSong technique.
We sing together in a circle where we play various vocal improv games, inviting us to explore our voices to create spontaneous music. It’s a fun way to develop our authentic expression, self confidence, and singing skills in a supportive container.
All musical skill levels are welcome! It’s geared for a beginner mindset, a music hobbyists, shower singer, sound healer, or a more experienced musician who wants to dive into the world of vocal improv.
Some of the benefits may include:
