CHARGE! Agincourt by Back to Back Theatre | ACMI

Jun 17, 2025–Feb 1, 2026 (UTC+10)
Melbourne
Exhibitions
A new exhibition by Geelong’s acclaimed contemporary performance company Back to Back Theatre brings fresh perspective to the story of Henry V.England’s Henry V arrives at a factory: he sees thousands of French warriors ready to take up arms against his depleted and tired troops. With not much more than stirring words, he leads his people through a battle that represents the tragedy and extremities of war. But beyond the cardboard armour and din of battle – who are these soldiers? If we see them as individuals, what more can we understand about them? Globally renowned Back to Back Theatre brings its unique vision to Shakespeare’s timeless story of Henry V in Agincourt (named after the play’s pivotal battle), the latest in the company’s expansive body of screen-based works. Directed by Bruce Gladwin, with cinematography from Rhian Hinkley, Agincourt builds on iconic adaptations from cinema history, including Laurence Olivier’s Technicolor take in 1944, Kenneth Branagh’s grittier 1989 effort and Timothée Chalamet’s turn in The King (2019). It’s led by the company’s ensemble of actors who are perceived to have intellectual disabilities: Sarah Mainwaring, Simon Laherty, Scott Price, Grace Kenny, Nathan Legg and Jessica Walker, with contributions from over 100 community members, bringing a new perspective to a story we thought we knew.

More than a conference— Black Founder Weekend is a 3-day summit designed to bring Black founders, investors, and leaders together to build wealth, drive innovation, and create lasting change for our communities. Hosted at the historic Paul Quinn College, #BFW25 blends powerful storytelling, real-time capital movement, and culturally grounded programming into one bold experience. With over 1,000 attendees expected throughout the weekend, the conference features: The Founder Deal Room – curated meetings between founders and funders (by application only) The Black Market – a pop-up retail activation spotlighting Black-owned brands The Exchange – a drop-in space where service-based entrepreneurs (like lawyers, marketers, and strategists) offer live demos, mini consults, and business-building sessions. Keynotes, networking lounges, VIP gatherings , and cultural activations Five featured tracks designed to meet you where you are—and move you forward: SELL – Pitch, connect, and form partnerships that accelerate revenue and unlock new growth—whether you're launching or scaling GROW – Explore advanced financial strategies to build wealth, access capital, and make smarter money moves for the long term. AMPLIFY – Strengthen your brand and scale your influence using digital tools and storytelling—whether you're growing your audience or launching your next big campaign. LEAD – Develop leadership skills that evolve with your business—so you can build teams, manage risk, and lead with vision at every stage. INVEST – Move from founder to funder. Learn how to invest confidently, collaborate on capital, and explore new pathways to ownership and equity. Schedule, App + Smart Support This is your ticket in—register now to be part of #BFW25. Our full conference schedule will be released in May , and the official app goes live in early June —featuring a built-in business directory, curated investor listings, and real-time tracking of our collective economic impact (spending, investing, and grants). You’ll also meet PAM , our AI-powered conference assistant, designed to help you personalize your experience—build your agenda, discover key sessions, and connect with the right people and opportunities. This is where real connections happen—where a founder finds a funder, a deal gets signed, or a new partnership begins. In the wake of the 70th anniversary of Selma, we’re reminded of the moment we’re in. The road to progress has always required courage, creativity, and collective action—and that spirit lives on in rooms like this. We’re not waiting for access—we’re building it. We’re not waiting for capital—we’re moving it. We’re not waiting for change—we are the change. Join us at #BFW25 and be part of the next chapter of wealth, ownership, and possibility. In the middle of everything but away from it all, since 1941, the Dallas Farmers Market has been filled with wholesome produce and the collective fruits of our labor. Once a humble horse-and-wagon wholesale business, the market has grown with the city and turned into a hub for farm-fresh vegetables, dairy and more. Today, in the heart of downtown, the Dallas Farmers Market exists to cultivate a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle for all of North Texas. Seasonal produce, free-range meats, fresh eggs, artisan pantry staples, and handmade arts + crafts can be found in The Shed every weekend year round. All products are grown and raised within Texas or 400 miles of Dallas, ensuring that the selection is always fresh, seasonal, and supports local agriculture. The Market + The Shops at Harvest and Taylor Lofts are home to locally-owned small businesses with shopping and eats throughout.
