UPDATE 4/16/2025 To Our Loyal Fans of Mayhem, Madness & Mighty Little Legends, We hate to shortchange you, but we’ve got some news: The MicroMania Midget Wrestling event has been rescheduled to early June. Why? Because apparently the state sports commission just realized, “Hey, wait… this might actually be real wrestling,” and now they’re calling it sanctioned combat.Which means our pint-sized powerhouses need to get bloodwork, physicals, and probably a spirit animal guide before stepping back into the ring. Also—because bureaucracy never sleeps—we now need to jump through a few more flaming hoops: licenses, permits, and some paperwork thicker than a steel chair.BUT don’t worry—we’re doing everything we can to bring this show back bigger, badder, and barely over 4 feet tall. This ain’t over—it’s just on a tiny little pause. Here’s what you can do if you’ve got tickets: • Hold onto them! They’ll be valid for the new June date (and let’s be honest, this gives you more time to emotionally prepare). Need a refund? • If you got them through Eventbrite, they’ve got your back—reach out for a refund. We know it’s a bummer, and we’re sorry for the delay—but trust us:We’re stacking up all the tiny dynamite and getting ready to blow the roof off the place (metaphorically… we just got the ceiling repaired). Thanks for sticking with us. We can’t wait to bring you a night of high-flying, chair-smashing, pint-sized pandemonium you won’t forget.– The Team at Heritage Social Club(Where we may be short on wrestlers this week, but never short on fun.) The Lucky Losers | The Sapphire Room at The Riverside Hotel

Apr 24, 2025 (UTC-6)ENDED
Boise
Concerts
Nominated for THREE Independent Blues Awards in 2023 & winners of FIVE Independent Blues Awards in 2021 (including “Artist of the Year” Cathy Lemons & “Song of the Year” Godless Land), The Lucky Losers are San Francisco’s no. 1 touring band. Their music is a throwback to the hybrid of soul, blues, rock, gospel, and country that emerged in the late 1960’s with impassioned vocal performances, electrifying musical interplay, and powerful harmonica. Described as “the finest female blues vocalist in the U.S” [Real Blues - 2010], fiery Dallas-born entertainer Cathy Lemons has a velvet voice with a gritty edge and the rebel conviction of a woman risen from the ashes. New Jersey native Phil Berkowitz "has earned renown as one of the West Coast’s most distinctive harp players, as well as for his sharp, resonant tenor" [Living Blues - 2018]. The stark contrast between incandescent Lemons and elegant Berkowitz makes for a captivating musical union, breathing new life into American songwriting tradition and the vanishing art of duet singing. Since 2015, The Lucky Losers have completed numerous national tours, performing on stages in over 46 states in the USA. Their artistic achievements have garnered 6 award wins, 25 award nominations, & two International Songwriting Competition prizes as Finalists. Presented by The Idaho Blues Society. This IBS show was supported in part by a Touring Artist grant from CREATIVE WEST and the National Endowment for the Arts. Join us for dinner and drinks ! The Sapphire Room features a full food and bar menu with table-side service. With the purchase of a ticket, Sapphire guests are eligible for The Riverside Hotel's "Sapphire Getaway" for $179 + tax. Includes a standard hotel room (double occupancy) and breakfast for two the following morning. To reserve, please call 208-331-4931. Sapphire Getaway rate subject to availability. About the Book: When the enslaved Jim overhears that he is about to be sold to a man in New Orleans, separated from his wife and daughter forever, he decides to hide on nearby Jackson Island until he can formulate a plan. Meanwhile, Huck Finn has faked his own death to escape his violent father, recently returned to town. As all readers of American literature know, thus begins the dangerous and transcendent journey by raft down the Mississippi River toward the elusive and too-often-unreliable promise of the Free States and beyond. While many narrative set pieces of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn remain in place (floods and storms, stumbling across both unexpected death and unexpected treasure in the myriad stopping points along the river's banks, encountering the scam artists posing as the Duke and Dauphin...), Jim's agency, intelligence and compassion are shown in a radically new light.
