Handbuilt Terra Cotta Pottery - Themed Weekly Students will make their own functional pottery out of terra cotta clay while learning introductory handbuilding pottery techniques. No experience necessary, this ceramic pottery class is fun for all levels! Let your creativity flow as you design your own herb stripper that is unique to you. Every Tuesday workshop focuses on a different project. The following schedule is for the months of April and May only . Prices will vary based on the project. April 8 & 29 - Herb Stripper April 15 & May 6 - Egg Tray April 22 & May 20 - 6" Plant Pot What to Expect Handbuilding Techniques: Learn the basic techinques of rolling out clay and creating form. You will be guided through each step so no prior experience is needed for this workshop. You will be provided with tips and tricks to create a functional piece that is unique to you. Materials: You will be supplied with everything that you need including clay and tools. For the final touch, your creations will be fired and you can choose to paint them with acrylics paints on your own or leave them as is. Clothing : Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Clay does not stain clothing but it can get messy! What to Bring : We encourage you to bring sketches or photos of your inspo and ideas! Pick Up: We will handle the glazing and firing - you will be contacted 2-3 weeks after this workshop to pick up your finished piece at our studio.
